I believe that a painting is to be enjoyed, something that lifts your mood whenever you look at it - to remind us that life doesn’t always have to be serious. My paintings depict people placed in everyday street/landscapes, but everything is contorted to give a distinctive and sometimes humorous slant on the world around us.

I was born in Albury, NSW in 1971 and moved to Melbourne to study Graphic Design. I graduated from Swinburne University in 1991. After working in the graphic arts industry for fifteen years, I made the leap to fine art and have been painting full time since 2007.

I have worked very hard to develop a unique style. I started showing my work towards the end of 2007 and have experienced very positive responses to my work. Since that time I have completed numerous commissions and regularly exhibited in Melbourne and rural Victoria.
